PHYTIBOLOGICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT

In recent years there has been a great deal of interest in economical and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment methods. After many studies and after cooperation with Italian companies, we built a natural domestic wastewater treatment system, through special plants (plants that are particularly hydrophilic).

No need for energy consumption, take advantage of the natural cleaning system.

Phytobiological wastewater treatment is an ecological method of natural wastewater treatment process that mainly uses hydrophilic plants to reduce the pollutant load of wastewater.

The system consists of primary treatment and secondary biological treatment through the plants, in specially made polyethylene containers.

This system treats wastewater without the use of chemicals.

The offered system is that there is a newer one for the protection of the earth and the aquifer, and in addition the cleaning process is done without any contact with the atmosphere, therefore without bad smell.

SYSTEM OPERATION DESCRIPTION

Gray sewage (sinks, showers, kitchen) and black (from WC) separately or together, enter from the houses and enter the system consisting of primary and secondary treatment.

In case of separate sewage for the primary treatment we use, for the gray waters a garbage collector and for the black waters an imhoff system.

In case of single wastewater (Black - Gray together) for the primary treatment we use a two-chamber or three-chamber septic tank.

The treated wastewater from the primary treatment overflows and enters the secondary treatment which consists of a mixing, distribution tank, a safety overflow tank and an underground network of pipes from PR, and in special containers made of polyethylene.

These containers contain topsoil and pebble substrate.

Evergreen water plants and shrubs are planted in the pots.

Indicative plants suitable for the system are:

PHRAGMITE TYPHA, PHRAGMITE AUSTRALIS (REEDS),

BAMBOU, CAREX ELATA, TYPHA LATIFOGLIA, AOCUBA JAPANICA, COTONEASTER SALICIFOLIA,

CALYCANTHUS FLORIDUS, CORNUS FLORIDA, CORNUS ALBA, CORNUS STOLONIFERA KALMIA LATIFOLIA, RHAMNUS FRANGULA, SPIRDEA SALICIFOLIA, LAURUS CERASUS.

AURUNCUS SYLVESTER, ASTILBE, FELCI, IRIS PSEUDOACORUS, IRIS KAEMPFERI, LYMUS ARENATIUS, NEPETA MUSINI, LYTHRUM OFFICINALIS, GYNERIUM ARGENTEUM, PETASITES OFFICIALIS ELY.

In general, plants, especially hydrophilic.
